A massive “Thank You” to an amazing young man Will Rollison who has raised an incredible amount of £856 for our Charity. Will has undertaken a host of different tasks to help Tcharmed, not least being sponsored to shave his entire head and grow a beard and then dye it bright red. He knew Tiana from birth and was always so kind and gentle with her. It is wonderful that such a young person is so caring. Thank you a million times Will from us all at Tcharmed. |

A fabulous evening was had by all on 1st March 2013 at the Gala Dinner and Dance held for Tcharmed to promote Awareness of Mitochondrial Disease.An amazing band (complete with Lindy Hop and Jive dancers), and a superb buffet were served in a magical setting in the gardens of the Hyatt Hotel Dubai.Hosted by breakfast show’s Dubai Studio One’s presenter Tom Urquhart the glamorous evening was filled with laughter and love with supporting family, friends and guests.Organised by the Charities founder Candice Watson and backed by Richard Upshall, owner of OES, it was an unforgettable night, with astonishing prizes donated from far and wide to a worthy cause. | |

Another great day for our 6th Charity Race Day at Fontwell Racecourse on 11th December 2012 – a Christmas fun day out for our supporters – all courtesy of one of our trustees Steve Jakes. | |

Tcharmed is hugely grateful to Steve Wright who completed the gruelling London to Land’s End Great British Bike ride at the end of August 2012. Despite a pulled tendon in his right arm and very stiff legs and being misdirected Steve still made the finish and was selected as one of the Competitors to do the honour lap at Twickenham. | Brilliant achievement! The Tiana Honey Watson Fund 5th Charity Raceday at Fontwell ParkAnother hugely enjoyable day for racegoers and loyal supporters alike, took place on 6th December, organised by Steve Jakes.The Tiana Honey Watson Handicap Hurdle Race was won by Forest Rhythm and his happy syndicate of owners are pictured with Melanie Free accepting their award.One of the leading owners and patrons of National hunt racing, Mr Andy Stewart made a very generous donation of his prize money of £459 for his horse Watergate, which finished in second place in The Wellpool Building and Maintenance Handicap Steeple Chase. Pictured are Steve Jakes and Leonna Mayor presented the award to the owners of Hunt Ball. Bucket Collections at the end of the day totalled £363. |

The incredible sum of £6,000 was raised by Steve Jakes when he was sponsored to stop smoking on 1st October 2010. The T-charmed Charity World Cup Tournament was held on Saturday 5th June 2010 at Chessington and Hook F.C. and raised a wonderful £1,660. Fantastic weather and a great fun family day out. The tournament of 20 teams 6 a side were all dressed in the kits and colours of the ‘Country’ they were representing and the final was between England and Mexico – resulting in Mexico winning on a penalties. Huge thanks to all the friends and family who came to support us and who worked so hard for the event. |
Tiana Honey Watson Family day at Fontwell Racecourse – February 2011Families and racegoers enjoyed a fun day of racing at Fontwell Park Racecourse and some lucky people didn’t just win on the horses. With fabulous Raffle prizes of Holidays, Flights, Oil paintings, Garden Planters, Lunch at 3* Restaurant, Morning over gallops and lunch at Fontwell Park, 2 day break in 16th Century Hotel, Framed Team Signed Football Shirts and family days out at Legoland and Paultons Park the Charity raised a grand total of £3,500. A huge thank you to the wonderful Companies and friends who donated such fabulous prizes. |
T-charmed 3rd Charity Race Day @ Fontwell Park – 8th December 2009 This annual racing event at Fontwell Park has been going since 2007 and is a fun hospitality day totally sponsored by the generosity of Wellpool Building and Maintenance. Food, drink and choosing the most likely winner figure high on the agenda. The Tiana Honey Watson Memorial Fund raises public awareness by sponsoring Beginners and Handicap Steeplechase and Hurdle Races, with Raceday Programmes and Banners telling the story of Tiana’s fight against Mitochondrial Disease. Toby Watson, Tiana’s big brother has become an expert on judging “Best Turned out Horse” and in congratulating handing the winning Owner when he presents them with their trophy. Bucket Collections taken on the day have raised over £1,900 for our Charity. Our special thanks go to Steve Jakes of Wellpool, Becky Green, Commercial Manager, Fontwell and the amazing girls and guys who go out in the pouring rain with collection buckets. |

Hastings Half Marathon – March 2008.A superb run completed by Charlotte Fennell, Nigel and the wonderful girls from Claremont Nursery School who looked after Tiana with such love. They raised a brilliant £525 for the Tiana Honey Watson Fund. |
T-charmed Auction Night at the Café Royal – 13th September 2007 An evening of glamour and glitz was the theme at the magnificent Café Royal, Regent Street for T-charmed Gala Dinner and Auction night. Hosted by best selling novelist and tireless charity worker Lord Jeffrey Archer, over 200 elegant guests generously purchased tables for the evening. Jeremy Beadle, Roger Kitter and Steve Furst ensured the guests had an hilarious evening and the incredibly talented singer Pete Ware performed a fantastic range of numbers, from pop, rock, musical theatre and swing, ensuring everyone got on the dance floor. Steve Jakes, as ever was the organizer of the event and put his heart and soul (and trousers) into making sure the evening was a fantastic success and that as much money as possible was raised for T-charmed. Boy, did he succeed? Both Contributors and Guests efforts totalled an absolutely astonishing amount £63,000, paid for Auction Bids, pledges and Raffle. Our thanks go to all those fabulous people who helped make this such an outstanding success, and particularly we remember Jeremy Beadle who spent his life raising money for Children’s Charities. |

Clairvoyant Evening Claremont School – 23rd June 2007 A fascinating and mysterious evening with the famous lecturer and medium Andrew Woodley was held at Claremont School. All seats were fully sold out and Andrew delivered his own spiritual experiences and engaged with various members of the public in very enjoyable and entertaining way. Money raised on the evening totalled over £1,200. Our thanks to everyone who purchased a ticket, Andrew and Claremont School for providing the venue for the Tiana Honey Watson Fund. |
Karen Watts ran in the Swindon Half Marathon – 15th October 2006 Congratulations and many thanks to Karen Watts who completed the Swindon Half Marathon on Sunday 15th October 2006 raising £720.00 for The Tiana Honey Watson Fund. Many thanks also to Laura Hind who completed the Hastings Half Marathon on Sunday 11th March 2006 and raised £100.00 |
Charity Seaside Special – 18th July 2006 A fabulous show arranged by Wendy and Steve Furst and hosted by Steve’s alter image “Showbiz Legend Lenny Beige” at the White Rock Theatre Hastings. Star Performers included Rob Brydon, Ruby Wax, Marcus Brigstocke, Dom Joly, Steve Coogan, Chas ‘n Dave, Erin O’Conner and many, many more fantastic and generous celebrites and entertainers. An amazing £30,000 was raised on the night via Auction Lots and Raffle Prizes and we were incredibly grateful to divide this amount with The Louis Barclay Children’s Garden and to receive a cheque £15,000 for the Tiana Honey Watson Fund.MERIDIAN NEWS FEATURE ABOUT THE SHOW |
